			Tanemura Sensei is the living embodiment of the word Soke and has trained over 50 years in martial arts, starting with his father in jukenjutsu and Ono ha itto ryu swordsmanship. Later he studied many Bugei ryu-ha and at the mere age of 20 years old received the menkyo kaiden of Shinden Fudo ryu. He was awarded Soke of Hontai Yoshin Takagi ryu Jujutsu, Kukishin ryu bojutsu, and Gikan ryu  Koppojutsu from Sato Kinbei sensei in winter of 1989. Since that time he has also went on to receive 18th generation grandmastership from Masaji Kimura Sensei in Tenshin Hyoho Kukishin ryu. Kimura and Sato Sensei were direct students of the last Ninpo Grandmaster Takamatsu Sensei. He is Soke and Menkyo Kaiden of over 20 Ryu-ha and has been featured on the Discovery Channel representing the martial art of Ninpo. The Genbukan is international in scope with Dojos all over the world. Tanemura Sensei is a true Grandmaster of Ninpo and a gem in the world of martial arts.
